LESSON PLANS

The Bossier Parish School Board shall require the development of lesson plans by each teacher.  The plans shall be developed on a unit or report period and on a daily basis.  It shall be the responsibility of each principal to see that the teachers under his/her supervision prepare lesson plans and are available at all times in the classroom for substitutes and/or observers.  Supervisors of instruction shall be available to assist teachers in developing effective and acceptable plans when this service is requested.

Lesson plans shall be available for inspection by the principal.  The Superintendent shall instruct principals and other supervisory personnel to review lesson plans periodically.

In addition to lesson plans, special education personnel shall have an appropriate and up-to-date Individual Education Plan (IEP) for each student with disabilities who are receiving services.
