STUDENT WITHDRAWAL FROM SCHOOL
All students shall be required to attend school in accordance with Louisiana’s Compulsory Attendance Law, as addressed by School Board policy. Students shall be permitted to withdraw from school to attend another school as a result of a change of residence outside the Bossier Parish School District or other valid reason. Students may be permitted to withdraw from school otherwise only if approved by the Superintendent/designee. The Superintendent is authorized to develop and implement such procedures, as reasonable and necessary, to implement this policy. Such procedures must be followed in order for a withdrawal to be effective.
