DISTRIBUTION AND POSTING OF PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS

The Bossier Parish School Board shall permit non-profit organizations to submit requests to the Superintendent or his/her designee to place advertisements, flyers, and other information in a designated area (to be determined by the principal) in a school.  Such materials may not be distributed directly to the students.

Nothing herein shall be construed to prevent schools from continuing to distribute to the students items that have been donated by both non-profit and/or commercial organizations that are designed as incentive rewards for students, such as the Renaissance program and Adopt-a-School partnership awards.  Such materials may not be distributed without the approval of the Superintendent or his/her designee.

Commercial advertising by school related groups or in school publications shall be governed by policy KIB, Advertising in the Schools.
